HOT 97 reports that Andre 3000 (Andre Benjamin of Outkast) will play the late rock legend in a new film on the subject, penned by 12 Years A Slave screenwriter John Ridley.
The trailer has already sparked a great deal of interest, and Benjamin is a ringer for the late, great guitar legend. Early stills of the rapper are almost indistinguishable from Jimi.
